Buyer's guide

Choosing to buy a home is one of the biggest decisions you'll make. It's a process that rewards planning, and having a knowledgeable Realtor® in your corner from the very first step.

Get your finances in order

Start by setting aside a down payment — a minimum of 5% of the purchase price — and meeting with a mortgage broker to determine what you can comfortably afford.

Visualize your dream home

Once you know your price range, think through what actually matters: proximity to schools and transit, neighbourhood feel, walkability, future resale value.

Meet with a real estate agent

Partner with someone you feel completely comfortable with — not just the first agent you meet.

The search

Using MLS search alongside my own local knowledge, we'll narrow in on homes that actually fit your list.

Closing

Once we've negotiated an accepted offer, we'll arrange a home inspection, deal with any repairs, and finalize your mortgage. Closing typically takes place at a lawyer's office.
